Executive Summary
The business that I built my project for has asked not to be
named, but it is a large non-profit organization. Each year this business does
what it calls a capital needs analysis. Basically there is a schedule of when
all of their capital assets should wear out and each year they inspect a
portion of their capital assets and determine which ones need to be replaced.
Based on that inspection they create different projects for each capital asset
that they are going to replace based on that year’s inspection. My program
allows them to track the budget and expenditures in each of these projects as
well add new projects for assets that need to be replaced, but that were not
included in the original budget.
