HP Retail Publishing Solutions provides photo kiosks and printers to retail stores, allowing consumers to quickly print their digital images as well as create themed photo cards, calendars, photo books and more. A challenge that product managers currently face is matching sales data with viewable images of the themes and designs used in their photo products. They have created and purchased many designs such as Christmas cards, mother’s day cards etc, but they do not really know which ones are doing well and which ones are just taking up valuable screen space in the photo kiosks.
My project is to build a VBA program that will bring the sales data, product information and images of the products all together in one easy to navigate user interface. From within this program product managers will be able to sort and filter the data by any variable they choose, and they will always be able to see actual images of every product. This will allow them to quickly identify winning and losing designs as well as important market trends.
