Project Description

The VBA Project I created was built to solve two problems at work. I work for a Direct Sales company called Unicity International and we move a lot of product around the globe each year.  The company uses a couple of different software systems to manage the inventory and shipments but the system isn’t robust enough to capture all the information that we wanted to see.  Three key problems that we have been facing are 1). The current systems do not let the Operations Team record the Lot Numbers and the Expiration Dates of the products that are being shipped. 2) There wasn’t a centralized system in place to record where a shipment was at.  Everything was through email. 3) We wanted to have the functionality to specify the urgency of a shipment.  So I created a tool that would help us solve those three key problems.  I was able to solve those problems and actually add extra functionality that I wasn’t planning on.
