This budget
expense automation program aims to solve the issue of inaccurate expense allocation
for personal budgets, and the inefficiencies with manually entering in this information. The program has four main
program steps:
1. Downloads bank checking account
information
2. Allows user to first manually
allocate expenses to correct expense categories, and save allocation
percentages.
3. As more allocation data are saved,
the program learns to automatically allocate similar transactions, allowing increased accuracy and usefulness over time.
4. Monthly transaction data are placed
in a pivot chart for simple analysis.
