Adwords Report Automation

Executive Summary

I work as the Manager of Internet Marketing at a local company. I use Google Adwords to post internet advertisements on Google’s search engine. Every month I spend several hours creating Adwords reports for the Marketing Department and upper management. Here is the process by which I make these reports

1) Login to Adwords web site
2) Select report criteria
3) Download data
4) Insert relevant data into a PowerPoint
5) Save the PowerPoint to a predetermined file location

I wrote a VBA subroutine that completed these four steps. By using this subroutine I will save about 3 hours per month. While it may seem inconsequential, those extra hours allow me to spend more time on strategic initiatives.
